The president has been tweeting about climate science and global warming for the past few weeks, as he has sought to shore up his approval ratings and to highlight his commitment to a clean energy agenda.
But it appears that the president’s tweets on the subject have also been getting more attention in the mainstream media than the president himself.
As we reported earlier this week, Trump has been actively tweeting about the science of climate change since early in the Trump administration, using his daily Twitter feed to share his observations about climate and other issues.
As of Monday, Trump had shared more than 30 tweets about climate in the first nine days of the month, with most of his comments on climate-related issues coming during his daily tweets.
Some of the tweets that have been shared on social media include a series of tweets in May from Trump that included the following:As a presidential candidate, Trump vowed to use his presidency to undo some of the policies of former President Barack Obama, such as the Affordable Care Act and the Paris climate agreement.
