It has been a tough week for Italy, but their fans have been left behind by a bad performance.
The side has conceded seven goals in three games, which is a record for them in a calendar year and they have conceded seven or more goals in five of their past six games.
They have scored five goals in their last five games and conceded a further six goals.
There have been some good goals in recent times, but it is the home defeat against Croatia that has put the pressure on Italy.
The result will have been disappointing for fans, but the home win over Austria in their first European Championship qualifier has given them a little lift, especially when considering their current form.
“We have a tough start but we have got to keep it going.
The team is hungry to get to the final, but if we keep scoring goals and we win games like we did against Austria, it will give us a lot of confidence,” said Alessandro “L’Etoile” Costacosta.
Costacosta said that his team are ready for the final and want to fight for it.
“For us, it is a big responsibility.
We need to find a solution.
We are not just playing to win but we need to be better in front of goal, and that’s why we are in a good position right now,” he said.
Costap’s side have conceded more than once in their past three matches and they are yet to concede a goal in their two matches against Poland.
